Obituary of Maria Guadalupe Corona

Maria Guadalupe Corona, age 78, of Minooka, IL and formerly of Cicero, IL passed away peacefully at the home of her son, with her family at her side on Tuesday November 5, 2019.

She was born October 18, 1941 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Victoria Navarrete and the late Jose Orozco.

Maria is the loving wife of Benjamin Corona; dearest daughter of Victoria Navarrete; beloved mother of Jose (Maria Guadalupe) Corona, Roberto (Tomasa) Corona, Norma (Octavio) Rios, Ruben (Bertha) Corona, Martin (Martha) Corona, Alma Delia (Francisco J.) Escamilla, Maria Leticia (Antonio) Velazquez, Manuel (Angelica) Corona and Javier (Daisy) Corona; devoted grandmother of 32 and proud great-grandmother of 19.

She will be remembered fondly by her family as being a completely devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose main focus was her family.  Not a day passed where she wouldn't check on her loved ones. Several calls a day were common.  She wanted to be sure everyone was ok and if anyone needed anything she was always there.
