Wow! I can't believe he's gone. My heart goes out to his family. There are so many memories starting with the blue Chevy pickup from when his dad passed to the last time I had seen him as he came over to go lift weights at the "Y". As often times life had somehow came along and grabbed both of us and dragged us apart with carriers, houses, children etc. So even though life did draw us apart I had always felt like he was a brother from a different Mother. I remember I was saddened when I found out about Ken's Brother Chuck who had passed away. At one time he was the shop foreman where I was painting cars. Yet now it hurts just that much more knowing Ken himself has passed. Some good times that come to mind like going as fast as we could in Mike Enos’s car around exit ramps and having the car run out of gas because all the gas was at one side of tank. Or the time we rebuilt the motor in his white Trans Am. We had gone for a test drive on RT57. We had spun out after being cut off and doing 360’s in front of folks doing 120+ MPH. I was humbled yet honored in being a part of his wedding to Mariann. To the time His clutch broke on his Camaro I painted for him as we went to pick his Mom up from work. And we had to speed up to 70 or so on RT83 along with going slow to time the lights so we didn’t have to stop. One thing I remember him saying was that when things get rough just give it more throttle and drive through it. It’ll work itself out. Seems like that was a part of his DNA. Rest in peace brother, rest in peace.

It so sad that one of my classmates has passed away. It was 3 weeks ago, but I just found out today. He LOVED motorcycles and was such a talented rider. I haven't seen him since the early 80's, but I never forgot him. One day he was riding my bike and popped a big wheelie. Unfortunately, that tore up the taillight on the back of the bike. A few days later Kenny showed up with a new part and hooked it all back up. Good as new. He was a great guy, and will be missed. RIP Kenny...
