I remember one time he asked me and Stephanie to go to the courthouse in Wheaton Illinois to pay off a traffic fine for him while he was at work. Me and Stephanie drove well over an hour to get there. We get there to make a payment and the lady asked for his middle name that we needed it in order to make a payment. I sat there for about a half hour trying to remember his middle name and kept making the to Steph that he had a christian Middle name. ( cell phones weren't quite a thing yet)finally after a half hour or so later we gave up. We failed. We get back to the house about the same time Jake was getting off work and proceeded to tell him what happened, for him to tell us his middle name was christian. He couldn't stop laughing at us. Not to mention all the memories of him living with us for awhile. He was like a big brother to me and even as much of a pain in the ass like Scott. :) I'd do anything to have those moments back. They always looked out for me as I'm sure they are now up in heaven. R.I.P Jake you are truly missed. Never Fade Away.

I am so saddened to learn of Jacob’s passing. I had the privilege of transporting him on Hospital bus, many times. He never ceased to amaze me; we had such great conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with you, for strength and peace. Hold on to your wonderful memories.❤️
