Obituary of Aquillina Flores

Aquillina Mary Flores (Presswood) nee Alberico Age 87. Passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Born June 21, 1922 in Caramanico, Italy to the late Antonio and Josephine (Brandolino) Alberico, she was a long time Joliet area resident. Survived by two daughters, Janet (Bill) Holland and Ruth Ann Bedford; five grandchildren, Dan Holland, Danette (Billy) McFarland, David (Maria) Holland, Matthew (Brenda) Bedford and Andrea (Dr. Todd) Gerlach; six great-grandchildren, Juan "Johnny", Kathy, Israel "Junior", Ramon Holland, Sarah McFarland and Matthew Bedford III; one great-great-grandson, Izaiah "Izzy" Scott; two sisters, Mary (Richard) Barrows and JoAnn (David) Teague; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her first husband, Wallace Presswood; second husband, Peter Flores; two sisters, Lillian Alberico, and Stella (Pete) Isberg; one brother, Arnold Alberico. Funeral Services for Aquillina Mary Flores will be Monday, September 21, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Anne Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
