Tom,
I have been thinking and praying for you and your family during this difficult time. I hope being home and surrounded by family and friends has helped you. I know you wanted to get home from Mexico. May God bless Blair and your family.

I didn't know Blair personally but we had a few mutual friends when we were in high school and knew of each other. I am so saddened to read of her passing. Thoughts and prayers to Blair's family and friends. She was way too young. RIP Blair.

She was Sweet: Showed kindness and grace
She was bold: I remember her canary yellow shoes in HS...
She had faith: Gave me my first real connection in my faith at Oral Roberts
She had an award winning smile: Serioulsy..She had an award for it :)
She was forgiving: Her grace once again
I’m just an old friend, but I am so sorry.
This picture is from around 2000.
She had just cut her hair.
I’m so sorry.

Our grandmother used to say, "Blair does not know a stranger, they're all just friends she hasn't met yet." Blair loved to tag along, so of course all 5 of us adults in her young life indulged her that privilege and as a result little Blair became acquainted with everyone each of us knew. It's quite humbling to be introduced to someone by a toddler, but she was so cute and adorable, we loved it.

I remember when she was only three and the family went out to eat supper at a resturant in Shorewood. She was restless so they let her get down to walk around. When we looked up she went up to someone she didn't know, said; "Hi, and preceded to eat his food off of his plate. Her mom ran over, apoligized and took her back. We were a little embrassed but it was so funny too. She was born 2years after my own daughter and they were raised together. She will be deeply missed.
