Obituary of Floy Fort

Fort, Floy M. (nee Foster) Age 76. Died peacefully at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family at her side. She was a homemaker for much of her life but was proud of the years she worked as an assembler for Rockwell International. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survived by one daughter, Jane (Kenneth) Fort-Bromberek of Seneca; two sons, Bradley (Karyn) Fort of Plainfield, and William D. Fort of Romeoville; five grandchildren, Nicole, Kyle and Madison Bromberek, Karyn (Bruce) Godfrey and Brendon (Amanda) Fort; and four great-grand-children, Christopher Webb, Connor Godfrey, and Brady and Jackson Fort. Preceded by her husband, Keith Fort (2006); parents, William J. and Sarah (nee Shaw) Foster; twin daughters at birth, Jean and Joan; one brother, William E. Foster; and one sister, Lila R. Foster. Graveside Services for Floy M. Fort will be Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home would be appreciated.
