Cleo!!! As everyone else this really caught me by surprise but I’ll say that I know the love she had for Lorenzo and the girls was truly special. I remember she reminded me that I came over and made salmon croquettes for the family and she always talked about it. This was a memory that even I forgot until my daughter as an adult reminded me that Cleo had shared with her. You would have had to be there- I was like, “ (Girl, you have got to know how to make some croquettes and grits!)” Those days at JOLIET and Stateville forced us all to be a little family. I pray for the entire family and still can’t believe this, but I know that her presence is now with HIM, and for that we should all find some comfort and peace. Love you Cleo

Cleo was such a kind and generous person. During a trying time in my life without asking her or telling her directly she recognized my struggles and immediately stepped in to help me. Her generosity inspires me to give to others to this day. She didn't have to seek me out to help me. She gained nothing in return for her kind and charitable act. She knew at that time in my life I had nothing to give. Cleo helped me, her neighbor, as if I was her own child. She did that because that is how beautiful her soul. I will never forget what she did for me. Thank you for being an angel to me. I love you always

So happy to have had the pleasure of working with and knowing Cleo the past couple of years. She was so much fun, always kind, always a good listener ❤️. Whenever I would compliment her beauty, she'd tell me ... moisturize, moisturize moisturize!!! Loved that lady and miss her smiles. Prayers for peace and comfort to all her family and friends.
