I only knew Don for a very short six years. During that time I grew to respect him for what he has done and continued to do for veterans. Rest In Peace my brother. My condolences to the family.

Kathy & family
We are saddened to learn of the passing of a Veteran who was a very devoted family man and a great friend of the veteran community. He will be laid to rest. However, let us cherish his virtues and learn to imitate them. Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband.
Most of us have to confront the loss of loved ones during our lifetime.
However, it is never easy when the time arrives. It is an occasion for
moving memories of growing up and of all the things loved ones have
done for us. It also serves as a reminder of our own mortality; bringing
our lives into perspective in a way that few other things can.
We hope you will turn your thoughts to the good times you shared with
Don, and remember that he is now resting in a better place.
May God grant you and your family comfort and strength in this difficult time.
George & Linda Cramer

To Mrs. Boyer, and the entire Boyer family. There are no words can be said, or rituals can be done to ever bring Don back. But, we all have great memories of him through the VFW. He and I would call each other our Facebook buddies.
One day my husband and I were on the highway leaving Chicago and met up with him on the highway. I had my husband to blow several times but he never recognized us, or hear us.3 So, you know in turn I sent him a message on Facebook.
Praying for strength during these trying times, for the lord only places on us what we can bear.

Dad,
Noone but God knows why you were taken this soon. The sadness and void I have in my heart is unexplainable. I cherish every moment we had and that your grandson Ryder, was able to meet his Papa Don! I will miss our many weekends and weekdays visits we were able to arrange to just get away and talk to catch up! I know you are in a much better place, but I wish you were still here! I am glad you were able to still serve with the VFW and always helping those that needed it! I will miss all your war stories and the story of the snake! I keep wanting to call you, but I just replay your voicemails. I love and miss you!!! Fly high dad! You are in your eternal home! Love Tuppy❤️

To the family of Donald, going thru something like this is difficult. But there will be a time when death will be eliminated forever and we will see our loved ones again. Rev 21: 3 and 4. Jesus himself promised in John 5:28 and 29 that there will be a time when we will see our loved ones again. Hope you find comfort in the words of God.
