Nancy was a great lady, a wonderful wife to Greg and nurturing mother to her girls. She was completely devoted and tireless in her love and support of her family. She was beautiful, a quick wit and kind yet spirited. She loved my brother Greg with such perfect and complete integrity that it buttressed their unbreakable union against any storm of life. When I visited Nancy shortly before her passing, I was struck by her courage and passionate will to live for her beloved family. It was a most selfless display from a wife and mother facing a decreed future but most concerned for her husband and girls. That depth of love and pluck of spirit surely shall not be blunted by a mere earthly passing. Greg and Girls, her love and her unseen but ever present protection shall be with you forever. In God's love I look forward to seeing her again some day. I love you all! Uncle Jeff

My dear friend....
I'm beside myself. So many of my firsts were with you. Hannah was one of the first babies I ever held. So many crazy and wonderful memories. Then life happens and 20+ years go by. Then there's Facebook and you can reconnect. We did and it was great. But it was so short lived. We wanted to spend time together this summer and now well......
My condolences to your husband, girls, furbabies and the rest of your family. I wish I had one more hug. Godspeed my friend ❤️

Uncle Greg and the girls, I am so sorry for Aunt Nancy’s passing. Words seem inadequate currently. Every summer I looked forward to July when Uncle Greg and Aunt Nan would come down with the girls to visit. Those days consisted of eating great food, taking spins on the golf cart (brave souls), and talks around the kitchen table or on the porch. Those are memories of my childhood that are cherished. The love she and Uncle Greg have for one another is quite evident and unbreakable, there is no question it will carry on. Aunt Nan was an incredibly strong, witty woman which is also shown through her daughters. You can see the example she has set for each of them on how to be a strong, independent woman. There is no question she loved her family with everything in her. While physically she is no longer here, great pieces of her will continue to live on. I love and miss you, Aunt Nan. Continuing to pray for each of you. I love you all.

Mama, you were the light of my life. You were my rock. You were there for me through everything. You came to every choir concert, every hospital visit, every show I was in, and just every time I needed you in general. You always made sure I was happy. You always made me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry. You were the best mom in the world. You were the strongest women I have ever met, and I hope that one day I can be as strong as you. I hope one day I can be the amazing mother and wife you were. Please watch over us. Because I need you. We still need you. And the little peace in my mind during my day now is that you are here somewhere watching me, making sure we are doing okay. I hope that you are up there with Grandpa, Gizzy, Dixie and Penny. Give em a hug for me. I will love you forever my angel. We'll meet again, some sunny day.

There is not enough room or space on the internet to explain how much I loved Nancy! But I do want to say this...
She was my friend, and a lady that I respected and always looked up to. I met Nancy years ago working a CXS Railroad, even before Greg made it there. From the first time I met her, I liked her. She was real, nice, and funny! Nancy had this weird, or should I say a smirk about her. Lol, when she looked at you, and gave that to you well, you were ok in her eyes, and I always laughed when she did it.
Nancy, when I met her, was searching at that time for hope I believe, she had some hard times but she would never ever complain, not Nan! Then Greg came along, a southern gentleman that needed to find himself at that time himself! Long story short, they met, and fell in love. Greg gave Nancy something she was praying for, hope, love, security, Nancy had Brigid her daughter love Greg and as a family they marched on, and they brought into this world two more beautiful children!
My friend loved life, family, friends, and I loved her! She was a great lady! I had an opportunity to sit with Nancy for a few hours, one on one, two weeks ago. I have never met such a strong woman in my life, we talked and talked! I love you Nancy, you changed my life, please look over us, and protect us!

Hannah & Chris,
Our heartfelt condolences go out to both of you at this very difficcult time in your lives. Although we did not know Nancy, we were aware of the extended struggle that she endured. Nancy raised a wonderful, compassionate daughter in Hannah, who we feel fortunate to have come to know. Your love and care were undoubtedly very comforting to Nancy, at a time when she needed it the most. We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Peace & Love, Karen and Don
