Obituary of Belinda Franzo

Belinda J. Franzo Age 56. Peacefully Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at her late residence with her family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Chicago, she was a lifelong resident before relocating to Joliet six years ago. Survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Thomas Franzo of Joliet (retired Chicago Police Officer); her daughter, Kathy (Michael) Thurman; her son, Michael (Chantel) Franzo of Joliet; three grandchildren, Brittany (Chad), Mikayla and Kaitlyn; one great-granddaughter, Hailey; her father, Herschel Spires; five brothers, Herschel (Denise), Ricky, Robert, Randy (Beverly), and Russell (Regina); three sisters, Sharon, Shirley and Sheila; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jean; and two brothers, Ronnie and Billy. Funeral Services for Belinda J. Franzo will be Monday, February 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
