Paul Frick
Age 88. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Embassy Healthcare in Wilmington. Born in Braidwood on February 7, 1923 to the late Frieda (Anding) and Dr. Walter Frick, he was raised there and graduated with the Class of 1940 at Braidwood High School. A U.S. Navy veteran who served during WWII in Africa, Sicily, Italy and the Normandy Invasion.
He married Bernice H. (Narvick) June 30, 1948 in Springfield, IL. She preceded him in death, as well as his daughter Sandra; his parents; two sisters, Hope Frick and Eva Williamson; and one brother, Ernest Frick.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Myron) Claypool of Morris.
Paul, a pipefitter by trade, was employed by General Motors, retiring from the Electromotive Division after many years of service. He enjoyed reading and gardening and was a member of the VFW.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Morris. Arrangements by:
