Obituary of Jacquelyn Fronek

Jacquelyn M. Fronek (nee Eich) Age 81. At rest Monday, July 9, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center. Born in Adrian, MI to the late Raymond and Darrow (Thompson) Eich, residing in Joliet since 1936. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1949 and the University of Iowa Nursing School Class of 1952. A Registered Nurse, she was employed by Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, also a private duty nurse and most recently employed by the late Dr. Donald Wehrspann. Former member and past President of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church Mother's Club in Plainfield. Member of St. Ambrose CCW. She enjoyed playing cards, crafting, sewing, baking and camping in Blackduck, MN. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Rosewood Care Center and Sarah (nurse) and Sara (aide) of Joliet Area Community Hospice for all their love and support throughout this difficult time. Surviving are her loving and caring husband of 53 years, Jim Fronek of Joliet; two daughters, Jamie (Bill) Wetzel of Millbrook, IL and Jennifer Fronek of Winfield, IL; four sisters, Kay (Vince) Wilhelmi of Elgin, IL, Carmen (Richard) Voitik of Joliet, Sue (late Jim) Ciarlette of Joliet, and Paula (George) Skiotes of Crest Hill; one brother, Ray (Pam) Eich of Marseilles, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Jacquelyn M. Fronek will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
