Obituary of Donald Frye

Donald E. Frye "Gene" Age 75, of Joliet, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at home. Born in Mattoon, IL on June 26, 1934 to the late Pete and Virginia (nee Bennet) Frye. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Shirley, nee Duncan (2006); dear father of the late Barry (2009), Randy (Jo) Frye of Shorewood, and Rob (Joan) Frye of Coal City; loving grandfather of Brandyn Frye and Zachary and Ashley Frye; also surviving are two sisters, Jane Hatchet and Vicki Handrop both of Panama City, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Retired electrician with IBEW Local #176 serving them for many years. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and spending time with his family. Funeral Services for Donald E. Frye will be Monday, May 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday 2-4 p.m. at: FRED C.
