So sorry to hear of Roy's passing.
We had the privilege of living next door to Roy and Kay when we moved into our home on Noel road in Elwood in 1999. Both Roy and Kay welcomed us as neighbors right from the start. We had many great nights together playing Mexican train (which they taught us), and just spending time chatting over the fence. He certainly was a handy man and could fix anything!
May he rest in peace and now be with Kay.

LeRoy and I were high school classmates. But, through our mutual friend, Annette Theodore, I became friends with Kay and LeRoy.
LeRoy always seemed to have mischief in his eyes and a quick sense of humor. He was a kind, gentle man with a creative spark that would put any trained artist to shame. He will be missed.
May his memory be eternal.

So sorry to hear of Roy's passing. I know he and Kay will be dancing in heaven. I used to house sit for them when Taffy was still alive and loved visiting with them both.
May he rest in peace.

Roy took on unexpected responsibilities when he married my sister, Kay. He never complained. When I was 10, he had to watch me , and we went on an adventure to the Braidwood strip mines. He told me that we were looking for ancient Indian relics. I don’t think I knew what a relic was but I was happy to be out and exploring rather than sitting in the house all day. We searched through rocks and gravel when he found the first arrowhead. I was so excited, and I wanted to find one. We found 15! By that time I was hot and thirsty so we went to a Wilmington DQ. I still
have the arrowheads and a fun
memory of a caring young man who spent his time and knowledge with me.
