I wish to express my sincere sympathy on the passing of Renee. Renee and I were members of the Class of 82 at Providence. She was very good hearted and always kind. We had some great memories at Providence and especially the bus rides. She lived down the Street from my Aunt Rita on May Street and when I spent some time there Renee and I had a great time together. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Vince and Dominick,
Renee was a coworker of mine for two years at St. Rays- for one year, she was right next door to me. I remember Renee as a straightforward person- a quality I much admire- and ready to help however she could. She thought of others and even bought my kids holiday treats. We had many conversations about our families and there was no doubt she loved the both of you with all of her being. She told me story after story, proving how much she lived to love you both. I hope you find comfort in the fact that you both clearly made her world beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I would have had a chance to chat with her one more time. I wish you would have had more time with her. No doubt she is in heaven, in peace and free of pain. I pray for all of you and wish you the deepest condolences. I will keep Renee in my fond memories.

Vince, Dominick, and Ruettiger Family,
I remember it like it was yesterday the first time I met Renee. It was at her and Judy's First Communion. At that time the children sat with their parents. Her family sat in the pew in front of us and she turned around with the biggest, sweetest smile on her face. Through the many years of school functions, 4-H, COR team retreat, pajama parties, shopping trips, etc., her smile and kindness were always there. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones now. May they find the Peace of Jesus as they travel the road without her.
With love and comfort,
Marilyn Rubsam

This is for the entire family. I know how difficult it is to lose a child and a sibling. I watched my mom struggle after my sister died and I had a difficult time with her passing. When my mom died in April it was so sad. May Renee’s gifts of kindness and compassion live in those who knew and loved her.

Renee and I would walk at 5:30am when it was still dark out, we would look back to see if anyone
was following us. One morning a car drove slowly behind us so we started running, as we started running Renee pulled out a knife she had hidden under her shirt. We laughed so hard I said “What if you fell!” I never knew she carried that knife.
When we moved in I was so excited to see little Dom riding his bike, I said a friend for Zack. He may have been Just about 5. I wanted him to come meet Zack, he went home and told Renee some lady wants me to come over. Renee came right over to see this lady, me. We have been friends ever since and so have Zack and Dom.
We looked forward to her Christmas cookies every year.
Our baking angel.
