Daddy, you have been gone almost 11 months now. It hasn't gotten any easier for me or mom. I cry often, especially when listening to our music. I can picture you, holding your pool cue and dancing. I miss you so very much, and I literally have pain in my heart. I believe that you are at peace and basking in the glory of God, but I am selfish, and want you back. I love you daddy.

It's hard to believe it has been 3 months since you left us. It feels like it was just yesterday. Mom is having such a very hard time with you not being here. It breaks my heart every time she cries because I don't know how to comfort her. I wish you could come to her in her dreams and let her know you are ok and she will be alright. I miss you like crazy daddy. I miss our talks, I miss your hugs, and I just miss hearing your voice. Until we see each other again. I love you forever and always.

Robert was a great man and had great knowledge to share with people. His love for his family was unquestionable and his words were always true. I am deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered, my condolences.

I met RC in 1996 when I began working security at Pheasant Run. RC worked in maintenance. We became friends while working until lost my job there after 9/11 due to downsizing the security department. Maintenence, like several other departments had to come to security for their keys at the start of their shift. RC and I would talk and catch up every day then. He was the one to tell me about 9/11 and we spent most of our day watching the news unfold by the huge TV outside the Proshop.
RC kept my secret about me and some security people using our security golf cart to sneak out to the back 9 and play some golf when we were supposed to be working. Hehe He taught me how to swing a club and actually hit a ball!
We were out of touch, except for w few sightings at a store occasionally, from when I left Pheasant Run until he came into my job at Walgreens in 2016! We hugged and cried and talked and talked. He would just show up to catch up with me. We became fast friends again! He even introduced me to his daughter so she could keep me posted when his health began to fail.
RC was a great person and friend and I will really miss him. I am proud to have had a little slice of his life to share with him to look back on. Godspeed RC! I love you buddy.

RC truly embodied the word, “friend” for me. From the day we first met on the golf course some 14 years ago, his genuine warmth and humor were always quick and evident.
If RC considered you a close friend, he let you know it. About three years or so ago, he called me and asked if I was going to be home. He showed up shortly thereafter and handed me a small box. “Just a little something for you,” he said. I opened it to find a handsome plaque of a golfer that he had engraved with the words, “Richard, Good Golfing Friend.”
During the winter months we'd often be at his house to play pool. He and several other friends would chat as we played and listened to the 50’s and 60’s music he had recorded on an old reel-to-reel tape player that he treasured and had since his Navy days.
A couple of years ago, when I was dealing with a tough financial challenge, RC was the only person who asked me if I needed any money. I was deeply touched by this gesture. RC wasn’t wealthy, but he was quick to give you whatever he had.
That’s just who he was.
I’ll miss my friend.
And my thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort go out to his wife, children, grandchildren and family.
