Obituary of Jason Michael Kantowski
Jason Michael Kantowski
Jason Michael Kantowski, passed away at the age of 46, on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his home in Joliet. Jason was born on September 26, 1973, in Chicago, IL where he was raised and educated. He was a graduate of Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences in the Mt. Greenwood area of Chicago, IL.
Jason had so many artistic qualities. He was self-taught in everything that he did: whether it was drawing, playing his guitar, or mastering anything that had to do with computers. He was also an avid comic book collector, loved anything supernatural and superheroes, and was a big Star Wars fan. When he wasn't teaching himself a new skill, Jason was quite the jokester who loved to make people laugh. Above anything else, Jason had such a big heart, always putting his family first. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. His presence will be missed by all who loved him.
Jason is survived by his mother, Donna; his brothers, Jamey and Justin; three nephews, Jamison, James, and Joshua; and his niece Makenna. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
He is preceded by his father and his maternal grandparents.
A Memorial Service for Jason Michael Kantowski will be held at a later date. As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, would be appreciated.
