Obituary of Alejandro Sotelo
Age 68, of Joliet, IL passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at home. He was born August 11, 1952 in Jojutla, Morelos, Mexico to the late Carlota Adan and Angel Custudio Sotelo.
He is the beloved husband of 39 years to Nicolasa Salgado Sotelo; loving father of Misael, Alejandro (Lizet) and Carlota (Fidel); proud grandfather of Valeria, Natalya and Nicolas. He is also survived by his siblings and extended family.
Alejandro was a forklift operator and auto mechanic. He could fix just about anything. Also, he could fill the room with laughter with his great sense of humor and great joy. He was always willing to help others without thinking twice. He was a soccer fan and a car enthusiast who enjoyed a good tequila and a cold cerveza.
Visitation for Alejandro Sotelo will be Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Facemasks and distancing will be observed as well as keeping in compliance with current capacity restrictions. Funeral services Monday, September 7, 2020 8:45am from the funeral home to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 404 N.
