Gestures
Sue was a great person to work with, although it has been many years since we sat around a conference table together. You were always confident in her leadership and decisions even as she twisted and twirled her pen! Condolences to her family. She will certainly be missed.
Sue was a kind, caring, and unassuming person. When Sue went to work in D92, I was offered the job she had formerly. I used to joke with Sue that I needed a shirt that read "I am not Sue Tierney". She was the consummate professional and treated students, parents, and staff with the utmost respect and empathized with parents regarding their child with special needs. My thoughts and prayers are with Craig, her Dad, and all of the family and friends.
May you Rest in Peace Sue, You were a true blessing to all. I am sure my dad and your Momma were there to greet you and Welcome You into Heaven. Always and Forever Loved and Cherished!
Craig & Family;
I am heartbroken to not be able to be the other Nora calling my friend and mentor Sue ever again. I'm so sorry for your loss and know the void she leaves behind is immense. Sue always put her family first, did what was best for children with disabilities and lead her staff to be the best they could be. I am honored to have learned from her and share 24 years of friendship and kindness. I know she is at peace with her mom and others she has supported through the years. God Bless you Sue, I know you're flying with the angels as you were certainly one here on earth. Until we meet again keep smiling xoxoxox
