Leslie, you are a wonderful soul. I'm thankful to have known you before we even met. The wonderful best friend to our Mary Schu and the woman behind the phone when I'd call to confirm her boss John's appointment. So blessed to finally meet you and enjoy your laughter for these past years. It was an honor to be your date and celebrate with our family of friends.

My dear friend.
The years together at the public defenders office would not have been anywhere as meaningful without you.
The support that you gave, good times and bad. The laughs, the tears, the wine and the beers all made for an amazing time. I will miss you terribly.
I know you are experiencing the lord's peace and are united with Rocco and your parents.
I hope Aretha is there to greet you with a song.
Love and miss you.
Marilee

My deepest condolences to Leslie's family. Leslie and I worked together at the Will County Public Defender's Office for many years. I was so saddened to hear of Leslie's death. Although I have been retired from the Office for some time now, I still fondly remember our many talks together. Leslie was a one of a kind special person and a true friend who will be deeply missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Aunt Leslie was always so supportive of me in every way. Whether it be school at MSU, skateboarding out in Colorado, she was always commenting and showing her support of how proud she was. I will never forget when we were at a Notre Dame vs MSU football game, and her friend Eric and I went on the search for a beer. She was always with a smile, always laughing, and always full of love-just like her mom and dad (my grandma and grandpa). I will forever have you in my heart Aunt Leslie, I love you so much.

Leslie, my Sweet Friend. I miss you so much; words can't explain the sadness I feel at your loss. We've been like sister's since the day we met and although we didn't see much of each other over recent years we always reconnected immediately when we spoke. I will always cherish our special bond. Love you to pieces! Patty
