I’m terribly sorry to hear about the passing of Jesse Bass. When I lived in Naperville and had no family there Jesse (and family) was always so welcoming and opened their home to me on holidays and celebrations. I will never forget the impact he made in my life during that time. Recently, we had connected on Facebook and it was great to see him comment on posts on occasion. He was kind and loved his family and God. The world needs more men like him. All my prayers and hugs go to family and grandkids.

Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Please know you are in my thoughts, and in my heart.
May you find comfort in knowing you are not alone, as you are surrounded by those who care for you.
Hopefully time will help you heal and bring you peace.
Jesse was thought of very highly by my Grandchildren ( Chris and Felicia) and the few times I happened
to see and speak to him made me aware what a great man he truly was. Bless you ,
My heartfelt condolences to the family.

So very sorry for the Bass family at this time of grieving. I always enjoyed my brief encounters with him when visiting my parents when I was older. Growing up next door I remember the milk truck parked in the driveway and thought "He owns a dairy...how cool." He was a talented and skilled man (he wired our addition in 1969...my dad was terrified by electricity.) Now as I visit Rick (still living in our house) with both my parents gone, I look at that brick house and recall how many window conversations I had with Bev. The house just doesn't seem the same with new neighbors. Growing up with Bev, Jeff, and Dave I always look back and say "What great neighbors we had". Your family is in all our hearts and prayers. May God bless everyone!
