Obituary of Alicia Gonzalez

Age 69, of Plainfield, IL passed away Sunday morning, November 15, 2020 at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center after battling multiple health setbacks.  She was born May 12, 1951 in Mexico City to the late Dolores Arciniaga and Jose Cruz Gonzalez.

She is the beloved mother of Araceli (Jose) Fermaintt, Martha (Kengi) Takase, Claudia (Eduardo) Crespo and Andrew (Caitlin) Saucedo; loving and devoted grandmother of Jennifer, Alice, Christopher, Anthony; Hiroshi, Abi, Yoshi and Vanessa.  Also surviving are several sisters and brothers as well as many nieces and nephews.

Alicia was a retired Sample QC Clerk.  She was very proud of her family and took charge of ensuring they thrived and followed their dreams.  She led by example, always demonstrating your beliefs are worth fighting for.

She will be missed deeply, but her loved ones find comfort in knowing her struggles are behind her.

Due to the virus and current capacity restrictions, visitation for Alicia will be held privately.
