Karen S. Gerace

Karen S. Gerace, of Shorewood, passed away at the age of 70, on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Villa Franciscan Nursing Home.  She was born in Chicago on December 25, 1949, the daughter of Joseph and Patricia (nee Steiger) Gerace.  Karen grew up in North Lake, IL, and was a graduate of West Leyden High School.  Karen retired from the Federal Government as a Purchasing Agent with the Aviation Department. 

Karen is survived by her husband, Robert Petrouski; her mother, Patricia Gerace; her siblings, Patty (Jim) Basich and Joe (Sheri) Gerace; and her devoted canine companion, “Spike”.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded by her father, Joseph Gerace.
