Edward A. Glasgow
Age 94. Passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008. Born October 2, 1914 in Joliet, to Edward and Margaret (nee Raleigh) Glasgow, he was a lifelong resident. A 1932 graduate of De La Salle High School, he served in India with the U. S. Army during World War II. Retired from Electro-Motive Division, LaGrange, after 40 years or service. He was an accomplished jazz pianist and artist.
Survived by one daughter, Margaret A. (Henry "Hank") Erdmann of Shorewood; one grandson, Matthew Edward Erdmann of Shorewood; and eight nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his beloved wife, Mary Louise (nee Shomas) Glasgow (1991); his parents; one brother, James F. Glasgow; and two sisters, Margaret Glasgow and Mary C. Scheidt Peterson.
Funeral services for Edward A. Glasgow will be Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
