Dear Anne, I just learned about my former roommates homegoing. It came as a shock to me. Many fond memories of our times spent at WBC, such as working on the yearbook staff, saxophone specials, his photographic mind, h.is athletic involvements, but most of all our wonderful friendship. I am looking forward to a grand reunion and praying for your
family. Your friend, John Pisarek

Dear Anne, Jeffrey, Christie, Julie, and Nicole
I was saddened to learn of Pastor Clem's passing. He served the Lord mightily and with such passion. But glory be to God he has made his transition and we shall see him again.
May God comfort and keep you in perfect peace as you mourn his passing.
I am grateful to you all for your love, support, kindness, generousity, mercy and grace.

My deepest sympathy to the Walchshauser family & friends during this most difficult time. I wish I had the words to say to instantly heal your heartache for the tremendous loss of your dear husband, father, grandfather & brother. Many rejoice & take comfort that Clem is at peace in his Heavenly Home which he spent his entire life anticipating. We celebrate all the lives he's touched & ministered to in our precious Savior's name, Jesus (mine being one of them). He was most certainly a man full of zeal. Just look at his smile & the light in his eyes... it tells it all. It was Jesus inside of him. He will be sorely missed. He was very passionate about life, in serving Christ, & sharing the truth & hope of salvation through Christ's redemptive blood to everyone he came in contact with. My favorite Pastor Clem sermon quote... "Grace is getting what we don't deserve as sinners. Mercy is not getting what we do deserve as sinners. The enormity of Christ's love for us is immeasurable." Love & prayers, Angie Thorne

A Great Guy! 1960’s, Clem as a young man, I as a child, we met at what I believe was his house in Hagerstown, MD. He hosted The Good News Club. My sister and I, already born again, attended his meetings. Other kids did as well, but I believe they attended for lack of something better to do. Hopefully Clem’s message made it through them. Many passed long before him. Anyway, I was saddened to hear of his passing and look forward to seeing him again. Prayers for family and friends!!!!!

My finest memories of Clem are from the days when he was pastoring and building Montgomery Community Church. As one of the men in his discipleship breakfast group I remember the morning he came late to our meeting place after hitting not one but two deer. He was off to the butcher to not be wasteful of what God had provided. He was a very significant part of my Christian growth. Although I haven’t been in contact with him for decades, I will always remember him as a friend and Christian brother.

Anne, we are praying for you and your great loss. What an unforgetable man your husband was/is. I have so many stories and they are all good. Glad we called him and you to plant the church in Plainfield. From looking at resumes to sitting in my office and interviewing, to coming up to Wisconsin to preach for him as he left to plant the church . . . God used him in ways mighty and profound. What joy he has now!!!!. Well done.

I first met Clem in the 1990s when I was serving part time as. the Minister of Music at the Evangelical Free Church of Naperville. During that time, Clem was putting together the ground work for what became Three Rivers EFC. Over the years, my appreciation for Clem has grown hugely. I’ve totally enjoyed those times when we’ve gotten to hear him preach — especially when he’d do a character in costume — those were awesome! I also enjoyed the several times when he’d grab his sax and we’d jam together. What fun! And I always enjoyed just talking with him. Thanks, Clem, and Anne, for touching our lives as you have. Looking forward to a great music fest in Heaven! Meanwhile, may the Peace of God rest and abide on all of you in the family, especially you, Anne!
