Obituary of Raymond L. Czajkoski
Raymond Czajkoski, age 81, late of Joliet, and a resident of Rockford for many years, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born March 5, 1939 in Joliet, he was the son of Frank and Marie (nee Strysik) Czajkoski. Raymond was a hard worker who enjoyed woodworking and carpentry.
Surviving are his loving sister, Mary Ann Czajkoski; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Florence Masilak and Eleanor Jones; and four brothers, Frank, Jr., Bernard, Joseph, and Walter Czajkoski.
The family would like to thank the staff of Spring Creek Nursing Home and Vitas Hospice for the loving care they provided Raymond, and for how nice they were to Mary Ann.
Visitation for Raymond Czajkoski will be Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road (at Essington Road), Joliet. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10:15 a.m., from the funeral home to Holy Cross Catholic Church where for Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced at both the funeral home and at church.
