Obituary of Barbara Ann Liles

Age 76, of Joliet, IL passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.  She was born February 13, 1944 to Marie and Earl Wilda in Joliet where she was raised, educated and lived her entire life.

She is the loving mother of Cayla Liles-Hartman (Brian Hartman) and Corri (Harry) Grady; five grandchildren, Amanda, Wyatt, Alexis, Amy and Cody. Also surviving are her siblings, nieces, nephews as well as her grandpets, Zeus, Cleo, Latte and Tango.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Forrest Liles; her parents and siblings.

Some of Barb’s hobbies included sewing, quilting and cruising the open roads with her husband in their Camaro convertible.

A Memorial Visitation for Barbara will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until her Memorial Service begins at 11:00 a.m.at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd) Joliet. Facemasks and distancing are required and capacity restrictions will be observed. Interment will take place privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  As it was Barbara’s wish cremation rites have been accorded.
