Obituary of James T. Minogue
James T. Minogue
Age 83, of Minooka, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Amita Health Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. He was born in Chicago, the son of the late John and Irene (Ozminkowski) Minogue, formerly of Tinley Park and recently residing in Minooka for the last 20 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Jim coached flag football and basketball, bringing his teams to state championships. He was an accomplished pilot and had a fascination for history. He also enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alicja Minogue of Minooka; his children, James (Katherine) Minogue, Mike Minogue, Bryan (Tracey) Minogue and John Minogue; stepchildren, Latisha Trujillo and Christopher (Diane) Mroz; brother, John R. Minogue; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation for James will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
