Dear Gary and Gay,
I did not know your son, but in reading what friends wrote about him, he was very much like the two of you. He loved and was loyal to his family, very friendly and caring, full of laughter, always ready to lend a hand, and very helpful to all who knew him as a friend or soon to be a new friend.
These are the qualities of a life lived honorably. I am so very sorry for your great loss. My heartfelt sympathy to you and all of your family.
Love and Friendship,
Sara Mitchell from Solera

The first time I met Gary he was in the office for his interview and was all dressed up in a suit and all professional looking. The next time he came in he was wearing a Yo MTV Raps shirt :) I remember joking with him about that. I am really going to miss him, he was always super helpful and a really great guy.

My heart is very much with all of Gary's loved ones. I was very lucky to get to work with Gary. He was always ready to lend a hand, even when his own plate was full. Gary helped us all to remember to laugh and had the patience of a saint. I never had the opportunity to meet his family, but know this: he often shared how very proud of his kiddos he is and how amazing his wife is. He will be deeply missed.

You were my next door neighbor and my best friend when we were kids. Playing baseball in my backyard and in the empty lot across our street, and playing football until past dark in our combined front yard football field. One-on-one basketball games at your house around the corner after you moved. Endless debates over who was better, your Houston Oilers or my Pittsburgh Steelers. With your passing, a large part of my childhood goes with you. You are missed my friend.

I have fond memories Gary from his years at I.C.S. where he graduated in 1984. Gary was kind to everyone and well liked by his classmates. He was also a good student and quite an athlete. The I.C.S. community sends its thoughts and prayers for his family. May God be with them in their time of sadness.
