Brenda D. Johnson
(nee Russell)
Age 68, of Shorewood, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021, at her late residence. Brenda was born in Joliet, the daughter of the late Simon and Arlene (Beasley) Russell. She resided in Shorewood for the past 15 years.
Surviving is her loving son, Jonathon “Jason” Johnson of Shorewood; siblings, Cheryl (Steve) Waznis of TN, Linda (James) Lambdin of Channahon; Rich (Sue) Johnson of Braidwood, Kimberly Marks of Joliet, and Mike (Cheryl) Zivic of Joliet; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; her sister, Paula Hoehn; her brother, Dennis Russell.
The family would like to extend their sincere thank you to the staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice, nurse Laura, her caregivers, Nicholette, Sharon, and Irene for all their kind and compassionate care shown to Brenda.
Visitation for Brenda D. Johnson will be Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Face masks are required, social distancing and capacity restrictions will be observed. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
