Casimir J. Wilgosiewicz,Sr.
Casimir J. Wilgosiewicz, Sr., of Romeoville, passed away at the age of 70, on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Bolingbrook Hospital. Casey was born in Virginia on June 26, 1950, the son of the late Walter and Mary (nee Motyka) Wilgosiewicz, Sr. Raised in Chicago, Casey was a graduate of Harrison High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Casey retired from Service Web Offset Corporation as a union printer with Teamsters 458M.
Casey was a sports enthusiast. He was proud to coach both of his sons in baseball and enjoyed watching and attending all sporting events with them. Not only did he enjoy the competitive nature of team sports, he was happy to be relaxing near the water with a fishing pole in his hand or sitting at a table with friends playing a round of poker. Casey had the motivation and determination it took to teach himself how to play the piano, and for that, he was proud.
Casey is survived by his two sons, Casey Wilgosiewicz, Jr., and Daniel Wilgosiewicz; his brothers, Ted (Sandy) Wilgosiewicz, and Paul (Margaret) Wilgosiewicz; and the mother of his sons, Tami Johnson. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
He is preceded by his parents; one brother, Walter Wilgosiewicz; and his sister, Genevieve Szymczak.
