Obituary of Tadeusz Gorski

Gorski, Tadeusz M. "Ted" Age 87. Passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at his late residence in Shorewood. Born in Chicago to the late Marcin and Mary (nee Jasica) Gorski, he was a long time Shorewood resident. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII with the 11th Airborne Division, 127th Airborne Engineers Battalion. He was engaged in several campaigns in the Southwest Pacific. Retired from the City of Chicago, Quality Assurance Purchasing Department. Loving husband of Wilma (nee Streeter), whom he married in July 1946; dear father of Dexter (Debbie), Gary (Bonnie) and Martin (Rose) Gorski; grandfather of Tom and Jason Gorski, Pamela (Brian) Fortune; Julie (Dean) Geyer, Gary Jr.(Sherry), David(Aliona), Bryan and Melissa Gorski; and Kelly Knoerzer; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph (Lorraine), Ed (late Mary) and Stan (Sally) Gorski; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Ted Gorski will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Inurnment Monday, July 30, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
