Obituary of Norma Louise Morrow
Norma Louise Morrow, age 83, of Channahon, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at home, with her loving family by her side.
Born November 12, 1937 in Olive Branch, IL, she was the daughter of Richard W. and Zola Opal (Jameson) Ollis, and was a graduate of Thebes Township High School, Class of 1956.
Norma was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and they adored her. In addition to being a wonderful cook, she also enjoyed sewing and canning. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her distinctive laugh.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 62 years, Gerald E. Morrow; three children, Julie (Lawrence Wilfert) Boswell of Minooka, Rhonda (Patrick O’Keefe) Rumchak of Channahon, and Danny (Christine) Morrow of Channahon; six grandchildren, Ian (Scarlett) Boswell, Emily Boswell, Zachery Rumchak, Kyle Rumchak, Nathaniel Morrow and Katherine Morrow; three great-grandchildren, Jillian Kelly, Mia Flowers, and Brody Boswell; one sister, Helen (the late Fred) Stilley of Anna, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald Ollis and Dale Ollis; and three sisters, Mary Dodd, Clara Mae Bledsoe, and Rosena Poole.
Visitation for Norma Morrow will be held Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, (at Essington Road), Joliet. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
