Obituary of David Hasenjaeger
David Hasenjaeger
Age 80, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, IL. He was born in Joliet, the son of the late Clinton and Miriam (Ostrem) Hasenjaeger. David was a former resident of Shorewood and Minooka. He retired from the Teamsters Union Local #179. David loved water skiing and following retirement, his passion was raising draft horses. During the course of fall events, David was instrumental in utilizing his draft horses to pull hayracks and the many riders, and was enjoyed by all.
Surviving is his son, Brian (Cheryl) Hasenjaeger of Batavia; two granddaughters, Lauren and Abby Hasenjaeger, both at home; his brother, Dan Hasenjaeger of Joliet; two nephews, Jeff (Jeanne) and Scott Hasenjaeger.
Visitation for David Hasenjaeger will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
