Julie Moeller
It is with great sadness that the family of Julie Moeller announces her passing on Monday, August 2, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida at the age of 63. Julie was born in DeWitt, IA to the late Norman and Mary Schwartz. Julie was raised in Shorewood and was a graduate of Joliet West High School. She was previously employed at Provena Saint Joseph Medical center and Our Lady of Angels Retirement home.
She enjoyed gardening, traveling to the beach, a good cup of coffee on her porch swing, and most of all, loved spending time with her grandchildren. Julie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Julie is the beloved wife and best friend of forty years to Robert L. Moeller; mother of Samantha (Marzell III) Richardson, Nicole (Mark) Jenkins and Robert W. (Hayley Biernacki) Moeller; grandmother of Laila, Marzell IV, Maxwell Richardson; and sister to Michael (Phylis) Schwartz, John (Eileen) Schwartz, David Schwartz, Catherine (Danny) Richeson, Elizabeth Schwartz, Cynthia (Dan) Ghilardi and Lissa (Kevin) Simmons. She will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
As it was Julie’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd, Joliet, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m.
