My sincere condolences to Don’s family for this loss.
I knew Don through the Van Dyke AA program and was an inspiring resource for me during my recovery and continued sobriety! He was a passionate man, who had a big heart and shared his life experiences with me and others, which makes his loss too tragic to understand. While his journey in life has ended, his mission of promoting sobriety continues with me now.
God bless you Don. You were an amazing man, and a good friend to me. Am sorry I could not attend your services. Rest In Peace, my friend. Go gently across the river. Your friend, John

Don was one of the nicest person I had the pleasure to work with at ups. Don and I always had laughs when we seen each at work usually at other workers expense too which was the best part. Don was just the kind of person you just loved, always a smile and a kind word. He will be missed I’m sending my deep condolences to your family I know he will be greatly missed.

I grew up in the home next door in Tinley Park, and I remember when Don and his sister and parents moved in. I offer my deepest sympathies to all of Don's loved ones. May God hold all of you in the palm of His hand.
