Obituary of Linda Gregorec

Linda L. Gregorec (nee Swansbro) Age 71. Peacefully Wednesday May 27, 2009 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. Retired from St. Joseph Medical Center in the laundry department after over 30 years of service. Preceded by her husband, Louis E. Gregorec; a son in infancy; her parents, Leonard and Isabelle (nee Altmyer) Swansbro Sr.; one sister, Joyce Sapp; one brother, Leonard Swansbro. Survived by one stepson, James (Patricia "Dean") Gregorec of Elwood; one stepdaughter, Michelle Gregorec of Oak Lawn; six stepgrandsons; five step-great-grandsons; and three step-great-granddaughters. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A Memorial Service for Linda L. Gregorec will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Matt Summers officiating. As it was Linda's request, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Friends of Sunny Hill in her name would be appreciated. Inurnment Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery.
