I always thought Uncle Ed was so cool. He seemed larger than life and had a great sense of humor. One of my earliest memories is seeing a newspaper clip where he and other officers got to practice what to do during a bank hold up. It was a long time ago but I remember him going into super hero status in my eyes. I loved the easy going way he partook in conversation and his love of the Chicago Bears. I imagine he's not missing a game even in heaven. Love you Uncle Ed! Go Bears!

I’ll never forget this awesome man! I worked with Ed & Joann for four years as their personal trainer & I never met a couple that was more in love than these two. Ed had such an amazing attitude and never complained about anything. He worked hard for me in every workout and even though he only had one leg, he never let that slow him down or hold him back. He was and will continue to be an inspiration to me in memory as the kind of person I will strive to be in life. Farewell Ed..I will miss you dearly!
