Bro Senffner was my young men’s leader and a great friend to our family. He was so kind and patient with us. He set a great example and I have a profound respect for his leadership. He will be missed.

Brother Senffner was my scout master for a number of years. We were a group of real knuckle heads. We’d sneak out of camp at night and go harass other campers and of course he’s hear about it. He was always so patient and didn’t raise his voice at us or make us feel like he didn’t care for us. He’d pull us aside and say he expected more but he’d preserve the relationship. When I think of an example of kindness, patience and life long disciple of Christ, Carl is one of the men I think of.

Audrey,
I am so sad for you! Although I only spent a little time with you and Carl, I liked you both from the get-go. Dennis loves you guys so much and has always talked about the good times he had with you and that he considers you both very good friends!

Pops, you were an extraordinary man who’s love and kindness had no bounds! Although our relationship was a bit of a roller coaster over the past 2 decades, we always expressed our profound love to one another. You filled a void for me the instant I joined the Senffner Family! Regardless of the circumstances, you were always there. We had so many special memories that we shared over the years. Bears games, Bulls Eastern Conference Finals games, Blackhawks games…….we even enjoyed White Sox and Cubs games together despite your disdain for the Cubs and mine for the Sox. Through the ups and downs of the past 3 decades, you always embodied unconditional love and support for your family and friends. You sure will be missed. You will remain forever in my heart! Rest in Heaven, Pops!

"Pa", you will be missed. I love you. You and Ma have a special place in my heart. I enjoyed my 4 months of living with you. All the ice cream, baseball games, yard work, and new water heater projects. The kindness, brotherhood, and friendship you gave me will always be remembered.

We chose Candle of 3 as the Number of Stanley Cups you were able to celebrate with us. You always had a HUGE heart and always a huge ability to help and were a great friend to my dad and an amazing Dad to Kim and NIck And an amazing husband. I will always remember one thing you said often is :" Its in God's Hands now" You may rest easy and enjoy health in heaven now and dont worry about Nick... "Cuz" will look after him.
