Obituary of Ricardo A. Diaz
Age 27 of Chicago, formerly of Joliet, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at home. Ricardo was born in Melrose Park, IL on November 7, 1994. He was raised in Joliet and resided in Chicago since 2013. Ricardo graduated from Joliet West High School with the Class of 2013 with high honors and received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019. He was employed by Guaranteed Rate and formerly with UIC Athletics. Ricardo was a sports fanatic, he enjoyed video games and most importantly, he was very dedicated to his family and friends.
He is survived by his first and only love, Sarah Volante of Chicago; his parents, Ricardo Diaz of Joliet and Anita (Martinez) Diaz of Manteno; his siblings, Bianca Diaz, twins, Aidan and Nadia Diaz all of Joliet; maternal grandparents, Alfredo and Mary (Reining) Martinez; paternal grandparents, Miguel and Rosa (Rosales) Bueno; Aunts, Marcy Roman, Alicia (Mike) Schwartz and Crystal (Jesus) Ceja.
Visitation for Ricardo A. Diaz will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet from 3-8 p.m. Interment will be held privately by the family.
