Obituary of Paul B. Vanover
Paul B. Vanover, age 52, of Lockport, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Born August 7, 1969 in Joliet, he was the son of Carl D. and Betty L. (Wachsmuth) Vanover, and was a graduate of Lockport Township High School. He worked for LKQ Pick Your Part in Chicago.
Paul had many friends and was well known for doing anything a friend needed. He loved riding his motorcycle, caring for his plants, and cooking. He will be remembered for his creativity, especially with his woodworking.
He is survived by his sister, Teresa (Tony Parmely) Hakey-Parmely; a half-brother, Robert Vanover; two half-sisters, Sharon Vanover and Nita Sharp; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one half-brother, Dean Vanover.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date. Fred C. Dames Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
