Obituary of William C. Kasten

William Kasten joined his loving wife in heaven on November 13, 2021, surrounded in love by his family.

Bill loved his family and enjoyed taking all his grandchildren to the Boise Balloon Classic early in the morning and then buy them donuts, one of their fondest memories of grandpa Bill.

Bill and Mary were very active members of Holy Apostles Church, with Bill being an usher for several years. 

Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus and both him and Mary would volunteer for many church functions and retreats, which they always enjoyed.

His daily phone call to his family will be greatly missed.

Bill is survived by his sons, Michael and Eric Kasten; daughter, Georgeen Hardy; sister, Terry Green; grandsons: Eric Kasten Jr, James Kasten, Jacob Kasten and Jordan Hardy; granddaughters: Angel Mary Kasten and Zoe Hardy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Mary; son, David Kasten; brother, Bob Kasten; father, Don Kasten; mother, Ferne Murphy and stepfather, William Murphy.

Graveside services for Bill Kasten will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at Willard Grove Cemetery, Channahon, IL.
