Obituary of Melania Nieto

Age 52 of Shorewood, Il, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Edward Hospital in Naperville.  She was born in Mexico and formerly of Melrose Park, Romeoville, Joliet, Plainfield and most recently of Shorewood.  Melania was employed by Home Depot where she received numerous rewards for excellence based on her work ethic. 

She was a lover of all animals, especially, dogs.

Surviving is her loving husband of 37 years, Demetrio Mena of Shorewood; 4 children, Elisabeth Mena of Romeoville, Valerie Mena of Aurora, Demetrio Mena, Jr. and Anthony Mena of Shorewood; 4 grandchildren, Desiree Wills, Simaya Wills, Jazlene Flores and Mila Nieves; her mother, Raquel Nieto; two sisters, Angelica (Joel) Garcia and Raquel Nieto; three brothers, Joel (Miriam) Nieto, Rigoberto (Melinda) Nieto and Eloy (Nicole) Nieto all of Chicago; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Melania is preceded by her father, Joel Nieto (2011).

Funeral Services for Melania Nieto will be held privately by her family.
