Age 93. Passed away peacefully, Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. A lifelong Chicago area resident and a Joliet area resident for the past 20 years.
Preceded by her husband, Manuel Guerrero, Sr.(1966); her parents; two sisters; and two brothers. Loving mother of two sons, Deacon Manuel (Debbie) Guerrero, Jr. and Fernando (Linda) Guerrero; four daughters, Rachel Guerrero, Amparo Padilla, Rosemary (George) Rembos and Alice Moctezuma. Beloved grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive
Funeral services for Alicia Guerrero will be Thursday April 5, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church for a Communion Service to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Bishop Joseph Siegel officiating. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at:
