My Aunt Nancy was a very loving, caring, and giving person. This was demonstrated when my youngest daughter Jessica had undergone hip surgery when she was about 9 years old and had to be confined to a half body cast for several months.
Shortly after arriving home from the hospital, Aunt Nancy showed up at our house with a big Rubbermaid bin full of wrapped gifts. We were instructed to give Jessica one of these presents each day she was laid up. Each package was a small project that would entertain her each day. It was a brilliant idea that kept Jessica's mind off her plight and had her looking forward to each new day. We will never forget that thoughtful and creative gift.
We send our love to Aunt Nancy and condolences to her family along with prayers of thanks for the wonderful person she was.
While we won't be able to attend her service, we will be sending a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her memory, as requested in her obituary.
God Bless,
Ken & Vicki Radke and Family
