Carneghi family: I'm so sorry for your loss. You see I've known Joe all my life and I'm 75. My name is Don Ryan. Joe and my brother Larry Ryan went to St. Pat's together. The first thing I remember is Larry bringing Joe home to our house to eat. They were very good friends. Larry was a partner in the stock brokerage firm Sofan, Agazzi and Ryan in downtown Joliet. He also woned a bar at Jefferson and Midland St-Larry and Kookie's. That's the last time I saw Joe. Larry became a Joliet towship trustee and later township supervisor. Larry died at 56 in 1995. Now I know they are hanging out together again with Bill Fitzgerald another St. Pat's graduate and friend talking about old times. Again, I'm sorry for your loss. Don Ryan

Scottie,
I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He ALWAYS made me smile. Such a sweet man. He will be missed. You're in my thoughts. Wanted to come to his service but out of town. Rest in peace Joe. You certainly earned it. Heaven will be more fun with you in it.
Adrian

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
