Obituary of Robert Reed Pritchett
Age 69, of Bolingbrook, IL passed from this life Monday, February 14, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL.
He was born on December 16, 1952 to the late Ida (Boaz) and William Pritchett near Marion, IL and was raised in a rural community in that area.
Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua (Kristen) Pritchett and Zeke Pritchett; two daughters, Octavia (Matthew) Craig and Zoe Threm; four grandchildren, Katlyn, Maddison, James and Rosalind; one sister, Millie Miller; and one brother, Paul Pritchett. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James William Pritchett.
As it was Bob's wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
All friends and relatives are invited to meet Friday, March 25, 2022 12:45 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) in Joliet to join the procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where military honors will be accorded at 2:00 p.m.
His final resting place will be in the Columbarium of Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
