Obituary of Doris Kay Randolph
Jody died on Sunday, February 13, 2022 in her home in Wilmington, IL. She was born August 18, 1953 in Joliet, IL to Charles and Mary (Holehan) Macier. She graduated from Joliet West High School with the class of 1971. Jody married Douglas Robert Randolph, son of Lonnie and Sylvia (Langevin) Randolph, on December 28, 1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law; her husband, Douglas; her brother, Charles Macier; and one infant brother.
She is survived by one son, Doug (Dawn) Randolph of Bourbonnais; one daughter, Loni Haddock of Sugar Grove; grandchildren, Macie Cox and Jack Haddock; siblings, Mary Lou (Les) Gomora of Naperville, Laurie (Ed) Garland of Channahon, Rita Bradley of Plainfield and Jim (Stephanie) Macier of Joliet; sisters-in-law, Mary Anne Macier of Plainfield, Luanne (Kathy) Randolph of Joliet, and Jill (Jeff) Scholtes of Morris; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive.
To know Jody was to love Jody, and she could light up a room with her smile. She loved the sun and the sand, her family and friends, her dog Coco, and boating with her husband. Up until her illness, she was a long-time employee of Jewel in Morris.
Per Jody’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice, Joliet, in Jody’s name would be appreciated.
