Obituary of Shane M. Walsh

Age 52 of Joliet, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, following a brief illness.  Shane was born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident.  He graduated from Joliet Central High School with the Class of 1991.  Shane’s passion was music and movies and was an avid Chicago sports fan.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra (Roy) Ravagnie of Crest Hill; his father, John (Norma) Walsh of Mesa, AZ; brother, John (Kim) Walsh of Woodridge; niece, Kylie (Nate) Bernardo; nephew, Jack Walsh; his great-nephew, Theo Bernardo; favorite uncle, Lester (Maria) Cheney; favorite cousin, Trisha (Mike) Kruchten.

He was preceded by his maternal grandparents, William and Violet Cheney; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Doris Mae Walsh; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering for Shane M. Walsh will be Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd.
