Obituary of Dr. Ednalice I. Pagan Romney

Dr. Ednalice Pagan-Romney PsyD, LCPC, age 50, of Aurora, IL passed away on Tuesday March 15th in Joliet, IL. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She completed a Master’s degree in Psychology from Universidad del Turabo in Gurabo, PR in 2004. Ednalice moved to Aurora, IL in the year 2008 to pursuit a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago which she obtained in 2015.

She is survived by a loving family: husband of 27 years, Jorge I. Seda Rivera, her two children Adriana and Javier, her mother Renee Romney. She will be dearly missed by her in laws Lowel and Erasmo, Viviana, and Mayra, her nephews Felix Gabriel and Diego, nieces Andihelie and Tatiana, as well by her cousins Harry and Bryan, Harry and Lavinia. Friends, colleagues, and family will be missing her dearly.

Ednalice always lived her life to the fullest, an idealist, a feminist, and a dreamer. She was passioned about helping people, and the LGBTQ community. She enjoyed spending time with family, brunch, movies with salty popcorn and icee, coffee, wine, puzzles, scrapbooking, sunny days at the beach, the 80’s and 90’s music, spinning and walks on the trail.

Ednalice was the light in the darkness for so many. She will be truly missed.
